A letter from the Founder
This journey into Portugal, the Lusitano horse, heritage, and a deep love of the natural world was never planned.
When I arrived in Portugal in December 2009 with a truck full of belongings and a young horse, I had no idea where the path ahead would lead.
Many steps were instinctive. Some were wrong, taking me backwards before moving forwards again. Yet every step brought learning, and every step was taken with love and passion.
Today, Lusitano Heritage is the expression of everything I have learnt throughout my life — a place where horses, nature, culture, craftsmanship, ancient wisdom, and modern innovation can come together.
My hope is simple: to inspire connection, create a sense of belonging, and help preserve the extraordinary heritage of horses, nature, culture, and craftsmanship for future generations.
Because belonging is the fabric of life. Everything is connected.
