Our riding holidays are designed for small groups, offering a personalized and immersive experience.
Depending on the length of your stay, your itinerary may include:
- Arena lessons on trained Lusitanos, mastering Vaquera (Garrochista) style riding.
- Garrocha training for advanced control.
- Cattle rides and working equitation challenges.
- Scenic rides to a neighboring Quinta.

Experience exceptional equestrian training with Bernardo, a skilled farm manager whose lifelong passion for horses, cattle, and traditional farming creates a unique harmony between animals. Guiding the farm from the back of his expertly trained Lusitanos and Luso/Arabs, Bernardo uses the Vaqueira and Garrochista styles, mastering the Garrocha technique seen in working equitation. His calm, precise methods minimize cattle stress, leveraging their natural bond with horses. You’ll learn from his gentle expertise, witnessing advanced maneuvers like canter pirouettes and lateral movements. This is more than training—it’s a journey into the remarkable connection between horse and human.

Stay in a stunningly transformed Alentejo barn, a masterpiece crafted by Ana Tavares Moreira (Bernardo’s mother).
This stylish retreat offers:

WHAT TO BRING?
- Helmet, riding boots, and trousers.
- We also recommend long-sleeve tops and sun protection due to strong sunlight.
CAPACITY & ACTIVITIES?
- Maximum of four riders per week.
- Non-riders are welcome, with plenty of activities to enjoy.
HOW TO GET THERE?
- We can arrange transfers from Lisbon Airport at €160 each way per vehicle. (Max 4 people)
- Cost can be shared if traveling at the same time as other guests.
- Alternatively rent a car from Lisbon Airport.
